Rec needed (are you sick of me yet?!)

You all have been so nice with your replies re: high chairs, baby carriers, travel systems, etc.

We finally decided on the Chicco Travel System this weekend, and I feel really relieved to thus have the carseat, stroller, base, etc. all taken care of.

Now I'm trying to figure out which more portable stroller to choose - for travel, later on, etc.

Any huge differences between all of the umbrella type strollers out there?

Any that you have that you love/hate? TIA Embarrassed

We have a Chicco and I love it now, but it wasn't as useful when DS was small.  He needed the incline for the first few months and even when he got a little stronger, the Chicco belt was so far down he tended to slide down in the stroller.  It's great now, though.  So if you're looking for use once he's a little more stable, the Chicco is great.  I like that it is a little more sustantial than the cheapy models, but still folds down easily.  I've always heard great things about Maclaren, but there was something I didn't like about it that made me go with the Chicco.  Maybe it doesn't have a 5-point harness?

  • We have the Chicco travel system (and love it btw) and we won't be using another stroller anytime soon. You may want to wait until later to pick one out.
  • I have the Chicco umbrella stroller too. I love it. It has worked out perfectly for everything. I would not buy a travel system again. I didn't use it. I started using the Chicco from 6 months on and I love it!
