When the tech was doing some measurements of the baby's legs I saw the three little lines right away and knew it was a girl! When she came back to the money shot and zoomed in even further, I knew I was right!

The testicles and penis were pretty easy to see. ?I think I'd have a harder time figuring out it was a girl with these elusive 3 lines everyone keeps talking about.
For DH and I, it was so obvious to us that we were having a boy because our LO was showing all of his "goods" for everyone to see. Even my Dr and the Ultrasound tech commented that they haven't seen a LO show his/her goods as clearly as our LO was showing his.
I knew she was a girl the second he put the doppler on me, from every angle she was flashing us. DH didn't know of course, so he found out when the tech told us, but it's a good thing I wasn't Team Green because I knew right away, before the tech asked if we wanted to find out or not.
When the u/s tech was doing the measurements of the legs, I could clearly see that there was nothing dangling, so I assumed it was a girl even before she told us and pointed out the three lines.
I also knew what to look for but no, I didn't see them (three lines). They look at so much stuff...half of the time I had no idea what I was looking at...until they told me, of course.
I actually found out at 12 weeks when LO was hanging on to something for dear life and not letting go. I was really funny cause the tech said she'd never seen anything like that but was 90% sure that we had determined sex 8 weeks early.
I also saw the infamous three lines, but waited until the tech told us to let myself believe it... I wanted to be sure they were the right three lines!
Although I knew to look for the three lines, it was too obscure to see until the U/S tech pointed it out to us. She asked us before she even started if we wanted to know. My brother said the tech never told them and they had to ask as she was walking out the door.

Re: For those who already know the sex...
This.

It was quite hilarious. DH was quite proud.

I had no idea. The tech had to tell me.... with all of my kids.

The tech said, "Do you want to know what you're having?"
I said, "Yes!"
She showed me the screen
I said, "Holy crap it's a boy!"
She said, "Yep, that is definitely a boy."?
