when does this usually take place. i had my 24 week appt. today and they didn't even mention it. I don't have another appt for 4 weeks - which puts me at 28. Is this shot given at the doctor office or at the hospital?

I got mine around 28 weeks when I was pg with DD and assume it will be the same this time around. They give it to you at the doctor's office (in the hip, if I remember correctly.) I did have to go pick mine up at the pharmacy, though, so I think I got my RX at my 24 week appointment. I have no idea if that is typical or if most doctors have them on hand in the office. Maybe call the nurse at your office and ask?

I have to have mine at 28 weeks--actually, my next appt is at 27 weeks, so I'll probably have to have it then. I don't think I have to pick mine up at the pharm though...they never mentioned that...

I was told i was to have it at 28 weeks, other than that i have had NOOOOO information on it from my douchebag OBY!

Mine is scheduled and has been for a while now, it's at 28 weeks. Did you ask your doctor about this????????

I had mine at my 28 week appointment. The nurse administered it. Quick shot to butt. I was sore as can be for hours after though.

28 weeks. I had spotting at 13 weeks and got some then in the ER, but my OB said they will do it at 28 weeks and then again at birth is the babies are RH-
