When I had DD there were a good 3 or 4 people homebirthing as well. I haven't noticed anyone here yet, although I've only been back from my nest hiatus for a week-ish.
Yes, we are homebirthing, provided the placenta previa which is currently giving me fits (and bleeding and clots and all sorts of scares) moves far enough.
If not, scheduled c-section. : (
It makes planning harder, to have that possibility looming.

Oh man, that sucks.
I'm getting my u/s soonish and am terrified for some reason that we'll find something that will risk me out of HB'ing.
Ugh, homebirth vs. schedule c/s ....that's like two different ends of the spectrum. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
Yeah, it's a flipping mindfvck. But the doc is pretty confident it will move and released me back to my mw's care saying I was in good hands.
But, for instance, I'm going back to see him this afternoon because of all the bleeding and clots this weekend.
The stats are in our favor, because it was only partial and found so early - something like 95%+ fix on their own, but it's out there. Which makes it hard to plan. I'm trying to stay positive though, because it's not like I can do anything about it, you know?
But it's good to see other homebirthing folks out there. I remember your birth story - it was really inspiring!

We are still trying to make the decision between a homebirth with our midwives or a hospital birth with our midwives. I really dislike hospitals (especially the one in our hometown) and would love to have my baby at home but I do have some fears that I just don't know if I can get over. Hopefully we will decide soon!
Re: So is anyone else homebirthing?
I remember you, Frenchy!
