NBR- We might find out about our house today!

Keep your fingers crossed for us! We put an offer in for a short sale May 16th, so almost 3 months ago! We're the only offer on the house and they aren't showing it anymore or accepting other offers. So the bank is taking forever. Well... the sellers want to move out just as much as we want to move in so they hired an attorney to "light a fire" under the bank (so says our agent).

Our agent emailed me Saturday and said we should know by today. Our lease is up at the end of this month, and we'd LOVE to only do one month extra. They charge quite a bit for month-to-month leasing.?

    Good Luck!!! I hope everything works out! And one suggestion if you get it, paint everything BEFORE moving any stuff in! It takes half the time, and you have no boring white rooms. We had painting parties where one day we had five friends and family there helping. Took us only three days to get the whole main floor painted, and then DH and I spent a weekend painting the basement (which took 4 coats).

    Good Luck....We put a contract on a house yesterday, waiting to see if it's been accepted...i can't imagine waiting 3 months!

    We don't love our realtor. DH and I both feel that if we had used a different agent, we'd have our house by now. But we signed a contract, so we're stuck with her.
