Shoes for toddler in daycare

DD is headed back to daycare in a few weeks after a summer hiatus. I want to find comfy shoes for her to wear and some that will go with most of her outfits. I dress her casual/comfort for daycare. I was thinking maybe some adidas-type tennis shoes. What do you put your LO in for daycare?

Stride Rites. We initially had her fit at the store but now get her shoes from the SR outlet for less.

she goes in some sort of tennis-shoe type shoe...usually either stride rites from the outlet/TJ Maxx or something from Payless.

I got a pair of Stride Rites for free as a hand me down from a friend whose daughter outgrew them, and they're really great...I wouldn't have paid $50 for them. Other than that she has some sneakers that came from TJ Maxx that she wears to daycare and they do just fine!

We did a buy one, get one half off deal at Famous Footwear awhile back. DS has a pair of velcro Nikes and a pair of laced Pumas that he wears to school. I think adidas-type tennis shoes sound perfect.

DD is starting daycare next month at 12 months. I'm going to take her to Stride Rite to get properly sized in the store. Once she's sized properly, we'll also check out the outlet.

DD has a pair of slip on Merrills (sp.?) that are comfy and durable, a pair of the Keen sandals (closed toe and you can put socks on under), and a pair of Keds sneakers. She's been comfy in all of them and I don't have to worry about any of them falling off or making her trip.

DD will wear Stride Rites once she starts walking. Right now she is wearing Pediped sandal looking shoes for crawling, pulling up and walking/pushing toys. She needs a shoe with a flexible sole.
