to have all this milk available and no baby.. It's just a cruel joke now that my body is playing on me.

I am back at work today. I know it may seem soon but honestly I don't think I can take it at home anymore. I need to keep going.

I think needing to keep going is a good sign. There are periods of life when all we can do is close our eyes and hold on tight until the scenery changes. Working will hopefully help the time pass.

I am so sorry MrsM. I'm sure you're already doing this, but wear a super tight sports bra over your regular bra, don't touch them at all, and avoid hot showers and steam until your milk dries up some. I didn't breastfeed and did all these and I think it took 3 days for my milk to greatly reduce, and just about 2 weeks for it to completely dry up. Again, I am so sorry for your loss and for this sucky reminder of what happened. (((HUGS)))

I came on after your news was posted, and I missed out on donating to the flower fund. Please know my thoughts & prayers are with you. I hate that part of my job. It's so hard & I feel like I can't ever find the right words. All I can say is that I am so very sorry for your loss.
