Is an extra rinse needed for CDs?

I use a cold rinse, then hot/cold wash cycle, and then a cold rinse.  Do I need that last rinse?

Re: Is an extra rinse needed for CDs?

  • I think so. I definitely do, though I do my final rinse on warm.

  • I do, not sure if it's necessary though.

    Me too.

I think most people need an extra rinse (well, if you have a FL... may not be true for a TL) because you just don't want any residue left.

  • We do too. ?We do warm as well. ?It is better at removing any leftover residue.

  • Thanks!

Now, totally random, but if the wash cycle is hot/cold, do you just go in there and manually change it to warm for that last rinse or do you do a warm/warm wash?

  • I do exactly what you do, and I haven't had any issues yet. I am not switching it up until I do :)

I actually do warm/warm and never had problems?

  • I don't do an extra rinse.  Maybe I should, but we haven't had any problems.
