When people replace their belly pic with a baby one...

I open so many "I had my baby!" posts and I often have a hard time figuring out who they are when their belly pic is no longer in their sig. I guess I remember faces better than names, especially when a lot of people admit that they don't post much but wanted to announce their news. Not saying I don't get why the baby pic is there instead! I just wish that I could still see a pic of the mom, at least initially, so I know who I am congratulating. Random thought! Hope I am not the only one who is bad with stuff like this. Smile

I was just thinking this! I only know some people by their pics. I prefer if they post a PIP while leaving their siggy the same at first. That's just me though...

Oh I was definitely thinking the same thing...when I announce my news I'll add the baby pics to the post before removing my siggy pics )

Hopefully this baby stays in a bit longer, I was in L&D last night for PTL contractions and I'm starting to feel a little something again today...not good!

I agree. I think with some people, it wouldn't matter either way though. If they don't post a lot then I sometimes don't even remember their siggy picture either.

Well... sort of. But technically it doesn't matter what your sig pic is of because if I've seen your dog a lot then I still know it's you, KWIM? But yeah, it's nice to see pics of everyone because you feel like you "know" them more.

I couldn't agree more. I don't know who half the women are over at 0-6 because I don't pay attention to names. The only names I know are the super active posters everyone talks about.

I usually only had a belly picture without my face, so unless you knew my name you all probably don't recognize me either.

You just learn to recognize people by their babies.

That's very true! On Parenting, I look at/care about the kids more. It's just that on 3rd tri you get so used to seeing everyone pregnant and then- poof!- they are gone and a baby is there instead.

I also wish that when girls announce that they had their babies that they do not change their ticker so quickly. ?I like to see when in their pregnancy they delivered. ??

I get confused sometimes just when ladies change their belly pic if their hair is really different or if the pictures are really tiny and its hard to see their face, so no its not only you at all, but then again I'm not on here as much as some.
