DD Prefers MIL!

When we visit MIL, DD doesn't want me. She actually screams and puts her arms out for MIL when I try to take her. I know it's stupid and DD adores me but it annoys the f*ck out of me.

Anyone else?

    That would hurt my feelings too, but there is a bright side... at least she's social and will go to others. There are a lot of babies that won't do that and only want their Mom all.the.time. This is much better for you and your DD :)

    That would hurt my feelings, my DD does it now and it makes me feel bad sometimes.  My DD reaches for my Mom when we see her and we see her a lot.  You will always be the most loved though.  You are Mommy and Mommy it the top of the foodchain.  Just think of it this way, the more people who love your daughter the better.  If she has a Grandma she loves that is great!  Plus she trusts that Mommy is there and she is safe so she feels comfortable leaving Mom and getting snuggles from other for a while.

    This happens sometimes to me too.  MIL watches DD while I work so it is understandable but it still hurts. I especially  hate when it happens around other family members.
