When should we register?

When did you register? Our shower is October 18th. I know MIL is throwing us a shower at her home sometime in October also. When would be a good time to register?

    I say go ahead and start - we're going to register after our big u/s around 18 wks and then update it from there if we need to.

    I registered the day after we found out the sex.. which was 20 w 2 days. I won't have a shower until probably Oct. or early Nov. but I will keep an eye on my items to make sure they are still available in case I need to choose something in place of it (different pattern or what not).

    i registered for the necessities at 18 weeks and then when we found out the gender at 20 weeks i went back and added 'boy' stuff

    We're on our way to register right now. I thought it was a little early, but my sister said she did (and most people do) when they find out the sex. I still think it's early, but at least it will be done!
