My papa was just admitted to the hospital, he ha been battling a virus for 2 weeks now and we thought he was getting better, but with him getting so dehydrated his kidneys stopped functioning properly...

So he was rushed to the hospital and is now on IV fluids, IV antibiotics (also discovered an infection in the kidneys), and it just makes my stomach churn.

Any thoughts and prayers you can salvage for my papa would be so greatly appreciated. I know there have been a LOT of requests today...I think today is an exceptionally difficult day for all of us...but I plead you all just for a little more hope to go up into the universe for my papa.

My grandpa. Mom's dad.
He is like a second father to me, I am VERY close with him and my grama (mom's mom)...they used to watch me when I was little and I see them weekly...DH and I regularly help them around their house...and DH takes him golfing a lot too.

They have the infection under control and have him well hydrated, but they still are not completely satisfied that he is ready to go home...
He said he is feeling much better today, and is trying to get them to let him go home today...but they are threatening to keep him until Monday.
So we will see who wins...my guess...the hospital.
