  i think most ppl wait until closer to the shower to buy items....I wouldnt worry

  I seriously doubt people have shopped yet.  I always shop the day of lol

  Also, at my shower most people did not buy off of the registry...I returned lots of clothing and bought what i needed

  If I was going to a shower in mid September I wouldn't have bought a gift yet. Your guests still have like a month before the shower to shop...

  I think it is to early. With my registery I did not notice anything either until my shower and I got all I registerd for and more.

  I wouldn't worry.  They still have tons of time to shop for gifts.  Is there a reason why the invites were sent out so far in advance?  Your host might have to send out some "reminders" closer to the date.
