Ugh! I should have expected this, but I'm still annoyed. I contacted the T&C Creme location to find out what availability/tuition is and their response, and I quote:
The best way to find out more about our center is to just stop by and we will show you around and answer all of your questions.
I don't understand why they can't tell me how much their tuition is. I've never encountered a daycare that won't divulge tuition information up front...

We went to the downtown one when I was considering taking a job down there. I loved it and we registered, but I took another job.
A friend of mine uses T&C and they really like it.

It was $1400 for toddlers when Joe attended Creme, but then like $3.50 or so extra each day for daipers. I think it dropped by a couple hundred for toddlers, but don't quote me on that.
Tuition isn't exactly a bargain - break it down to a daily figure and you'll feel better? It is less than I pay the maid for four hours of work. Still, Creme downtown is usually only 100-200 more a month than other in area day cares and they tend to be open more days a year and have a much nicer, better run facility, imo.
We really like Creme and have been happy there for two years. #2 will likely be there in January.
If I still had the paperwork handy, I'd outline the tuition - I'll see what I can locate for the next time this comes up.
The diaper fee is refundable for days you're not there, but you have to ask for the adjustment. It is convenient to not have to stock their diaper supply. It is something we have really been happy to have available.
I think they hope that people will stop by, fall in love with the place (it's beautiful), and won't care about the cost.
My son has gone there since 12 weeks old and we have been very happy for the most part. It's definitely expensive and you pay for a lot of the perks like the water park, the diaper service, the lunch service, the Police officer, the snacks, the Disney look/feel. You also have to buy their uniforms.
Their staff is mix. Some are great, some you wonder where they found them. There is a huge split between the longer term, decently paid staff, and the newer people, that the do not pay well at all.
They also just lost their infant/Toddler Director who worked there for 10 years, so not sure what will happen with that change.
We currently pay $1400 or so a month including lunch. Good luck with your search. We are taking my son out at the end of this month and putting him at a Methodist Day School.
