  • You may be getting over-heated.  And this is causing the swelling.  Try drinking more water.

I hands and feet always swell up every summer (pre-pregnancy) and this is simply due to the heat.  I think it is the same concept.  If drinking more water does not help consult your doc to make sure everything is okay.

  • i'm right there with you. some days my rings will slide on, other days I can't even force it on so I slip them on a chain.

oh and i notice sometimes if I squat really low to get to the bottom of the fridge i can feel how my legs have swollen behind my knee.. i'm like wtf? hehe

  • Maybe it's the heat added to being pregnant.  Everytime I exercise my hands and feet swell but as soon as I cool down it's all good again!

  • As long as the swelling is going back down... and your face isn't swelling... then it sounds like you are fine.  Keep an eye on the swelling and report anything to your Dr.  Otherwise, just stay hydrated (water is best) and don't consume too much sodium.
