NBR: Support group for my mom?

Hey girls..

My parents are divorced.  My mom really doesnt have any friends her own age and basically my brother and I are her priorities in life.  I appreciate all of her help and I love spending time with her, but I really feel like she deserves to have some friends her own age, maybe to grab a coffee with, go out to dinner, and just relate to.  I looked on craigslist but everything seems kind of shadey or creepy.  She is NOT interested in dating whatsoever.

Does anyone know of any kind of support group having to do with divorced women, women over 50, retired women or anything like that?  Or any ideas of where to look?

    what are her interests? maybe she could try like a book club or knitting circle or something like that, where there's a common interest to start conversation. Does she belong to a church? sometimes they have like a Woman's Club or something.
