Plano Area Mama

Where is the best park? What else is there to do with little ones in the area? I grew up on the ft worth side of the metroplex so I need activities on this side.

    There are a lot of great parks around here.  My favorite though is Bob Woodruff.  There's a huge playgroup, covered eating area, pond with fishing and large fields.  It's where the Plano Balloon Festival is held each year.  My kids love to go and walk around the pong, look at the turtles and feed the ducks.

    Russel Creek is another great one.  They have everything Bob Woodruff does plus a sand volley ball court and basketball court.
