Back from my weekly OB appt...

Well, I'm back from the doc and he said that he will check me at my next appointment (which is next Friday...I'll be like 3 days shy of 40 weeks) and that if I don't want to go over my due date that I have the option of being induced on the following Tuesday, the 18th -- which would put me at 40 weeks, 1 day.

This is VERY tempting. He said I definitely don't have to do that but that the option is there if I want to take it. Induction is really not ideal but I don't know how much longer I can go on with this back pain. I'm irritable and uncomfortable all the time (duh, that's pregnancy)...and I just want her out!

Fingers crossed she comes before then...but I think I may go ahead with the induction if she doesn't. We'll see, I'm known to change my mind! Plus, I need to talk to DH and see what his thoughts are on it all (he's at work). I spoke to my mom and she said I should go for it -- She was induced with my 2 year old sister and had a great experience.

::shrug:: Hopefully I won't have to worry about this and she'll just come on her own...but the idea of knowing I can have her on the 18th (well, she'd likely come on the 19th since induction can take some time) is VERY appealing!

This is an extremely hard, emotional choice! One you will be probably changing from day to day! Sending **go into labor before Tuesday so you don't have to stress about this decision** vibes your way!
