Stuff for baby -

Sorry to jump in here -- but I had twins about 6 months ago and I know how hard it was to figure out what stuff to buy for baby/babies. So I did a blog about what I liked. . .  mabye you ladies will find it helpful as you are registering. Feel free to pass along, and if you have anything to add or questions, please let me know!

    Wow ... your boys are adorable!!!! Thanks a bunch for the great info ... I have no idea of where to begin ... I've checked out some of the "lists" but it seems that at least some of the stuff is really a waste ... I like the idea of having a "must have" list from someone who knows Wink ... thanks!

    I'm planning on doing an update post after I get other mommas suggestions, so stay tuned! There is just so much crap out there for kids, I just had no idea in the beginning.

    on a side note, when we registered, my sweet but clueless husband thought registering would take about 1/2 hour at Babies R Us. Needless to say, I should have prepared him better for that experience. :) He was quite crabby after I circled the store for about the 3rd time, wandering around trying to decide what we needed.

    Wow!! Thanks for the insight. I had NO idea where to begin (and thanks for the tip about the rocking chairs from baby stores - I'll remember that when I go shopping and will persuade my FI to buy one from the furniture store).

    Awesome list! My only comment is re: the video monitor. We had a sound only one at first but we ended up getting a video one (Summer Infant one) when we were sleep training our daughter and it's been invaluable since! We really needed to know whether she was crying/fussing and laying down or if she was crying/fussing and standing up, especially when she was new at standing up in the crib and not very good at getting back down on her own. When sleep training you really need to keep actual checking (walking into the room) at a minimum, so the video monitor was awesome for that. We've been using it for 2 years now and it's totally worth the money.
