Anyone have diarrhea early on?

I googled this but just wanted to see what the experiences on here are/were. I just had diarrhea for the first time this morning, accompanied by awful cramps that thankfully went away after I went to the bathroom. I thought I was supposed to get constipated! lol

I had it with my DS and I have it again with this one. Dont worry the constipation will kick in too.

I did in week 4 then it all stopped and it feels like i haven't gone since. Arggg.

Somedays instead of feeling overly nauseous, I would have the big D.

Don't worry the constipation will eventually set in.

I still have it... almost every morning. I'm not too concerned about it, because it's usually just once, and that's it. I hope it goes away soon, though! I guess I'd rather have this than constipation, but this isn't so great either!

I alternate back and forth between constipation and crapping all day long. There is no happy median these days. I did read that if you have diarrhea more then 3 times a day you should call your doc. I just make sure I drink lots of fluids to make up for what I lose.

I did in week 4 and once or twice in week 5. After that constipation kicked in yayyyy.

I had it while everyone else seemed to be complaining about constipation. It could be a good sign for you. I've been really regular this whole pregnancy!

Yes! Only once so far during early week 4, and I haven't had diarrhea since I was very little!

It followed with about a week of AF like cramping and is just now starting to wear off.

I did!! I had a really bad bout of it actually four days before my BFP... and I thought it was odd... and then I had it again the same day I got it, then for two days after. Ever since then though, its been a pain in the as$ to go #2. Pun intended.

Yep! Me too! I had it for two days before my BFP and for the two days after. Off and on since then as well. You are not alone!

My BM have ranged from normal to very loose. No constipation yet.

Yes, I had it occasionally throughout the first tri, very painful and miserable.

Still have it occasionally, though not as painful or miserable.

My version of "getting sick" was never throwing up, instead it was awful diarrhea.

I had horrible indigestion that resulted in diarrhea early on. I still have days where it sneaks up on me but not nearly as much as the first few weeks. I had indigestion just about daily the first few weeks.

That's the way it's been for me too! It always accompanies my bouts of nausea. (I refuse to call it "m/s" because whoever named it that should be shot!

) It's all worth it though - My rationale is: Sick mama = healthy kiddo!
