hanging a quilt..

I'm torn between falling on my face tired, and some hardcore nesting that kicked in this morning.

I'd like to hang DS bed quilt on the wall but I'm not quite sure how to go about it without putting holes and such in his quilt.

Anyone had any success with this yet?

If you don't want to put holes in his quilt, you need a quilt rod-- they sell them at places like Michael's, prob also Jo-Ann fabrics.

i got these really great quilt hanging devices at thehangupscompany.com ... they're nice looking wood devices that you can unscrew to put your quilt in between two pieces of wood (not sharp or anything) and then tighten to keep it in place. i am very satisfied with them!

Our quilt came with these super cute hangers (basically like clothes pins but they match our nursery).

You can get quilt clips at Pottery Barn Kids. That's what I used with DD#2

I took some scrap fabric that we had around the house and sewed loops on the back of the quilt. Then I threaded a decorative curtain rod through the loops and hung it on the wall. Cheap and you can easily remove the loops if you want to take it down later.
