hmph have to do over weeks 10-11

I had my first appointment today...my period was all messed up in may so I wasn't sure of my dates and I had an u/s and found out the baby was a little bit smaller, so I went from 11 weeks to 9w2ds or something...

bah, i don't want to redo them! I was so excited to almost be done with the 1st trimester...I kept telling myself only a few more weeks....now not so much.

oh well i guess...doesn't matter that much but still a little disappointing.

I measured 7w3d at my first ultrasound on Monday when by dates I was 8w2d. I'm not having to do as many weeks "over again", but I understand how you feel.

Oh wow, I'm sorry. I know how exciting it is knowing you're getting farther and farther along so I can only imagine how it would feel to have the doc say I was 2 weeks behind what I thought, but look at it this way...you get 2 extra weeks of pregnancy

it might suck now with morning sickness, headaches, cant eat or sleep, etc but once it's over you'll miss it.Or so I;ve been told. So just enjoy your extra couple weeks. Good luck

The same thing happened with my 1st pregnancy and this time around, I'm pretty sure I'm only 5 weeks, but my cycles say I'm 8+ weeks. I know once I have my ultrasound they will give me a new date and I'll "lose" nearly 4 weeks, so I'm convincing myself now that I'm only 5....

Thats too bad. ?I have a feeling that is going to happen to me too. ?Based on my last period I should be 7 weeks 2 days, but I have a feeling I am closer to 5 something, or at the most 6, because it took me a long time to get a positive HPT.

I totally understand. When I went on Monday, she was going by my LMP and that it was 10 wks and when I had the u/s I was telling me 8 wks. I was so hoping I was further along. I was so looking forward to being almost done with the first trimester. I'm feeling like I've had to start the 3rd month all over again. sigh I haven't changed my due date on here since she told me the next time I come in we would have a better idea.

Just take comfort that you aren't the only one in a similar situation. ((hugs))

I know the feeling I went from 11 weeks 6 days to 10 weeks 5 days after my first ultrasound. Finally, today I'm at the point where I thought a was over a week ago. Think of it as giving you extra time to prepare for the LO
