Rescheduled 1st appt (vent)...

So I changed doctor's when I found out I was pg cause I wanted to deliver at the hospital my DH works at (and I work at every now and then).  Well I have called the nurse for a couple of things and she brushed me off before even saying anything to the doctor, no let me check with her and I'll get back to you or anything!  I also spoke with my mom (who is an  L&D nurse and has worked with this doctor many times), and she informed me that if I stayed with her that more than likely if I didn't deliver by the end of the day she would section me so that she didn't have to pass me off to one of her partners.  Plus they only have like 2 docs now and use nurse midwives alot and I really don't want to use a mid-wife (no offense to anyone who is/wants to use one, it's just not for me).  So I decided to switch back to my original OB cause I really liked her anyway and I really like her office staff (who also know me really well and one has known me since I was a baby). 

Anywho after all the switching, now I have to wait until Sept 8 (I'll be 11 weeks 2 days) for my first appointment.  I am kinda bummed, but I guess at least I get to have the doc I love.

    I'm glad to see that you will have a Dr that you like.  That makes all the dif in the world!!

    However slightly sad you won't be delivering at the hosp that mom and DH work at.  My mom works at the same hosp (L&D) that I'm going to as well.  :)

    Glad to see you on here, I haven't seen you in a few days and was wondering how you're doing...

    The only other good thing is that my mom is an L&D nurse at the hospital that I will have to deliver at!  Plus I do know almost all of the nurses and techs at the other hospital, so it won't be so bad.  The only thing I am worried about now is will DH's insurance pay for me to deliver at a different hospital.  I still have to check into that.

    I am still pretty nauseated every now and then, but I am haning in there.  How are you my dear?

    You're not alone.  I switched from my original Dr because my sister has some issues with her be well rude.

    So I changed to her new doctor which most of the female doctors I know go to... BUT I switched yet again when I found out he didn't take my insurance to another group. 

    When I switched they wanted me to wait unilt sept, but I BEGGED them to get me in earlier.

    they were kind enough to take me at 7 weeks.
