i've seen several posts about acne on a few of the boards i go on so i thought i'd post this so you all know. i've tried proactiv, murad, peter thomas roth, acne free, clearasil, oil cleansing, dr. bronner's, etc. and until this week i was still searching for the perfect acne face wash.

i did like oil cleansing but found it difficult to keep the same proportions, not to mention it was messy and dh constantly said eww why is your face all wet? last week, i came across this review on youtube and since this girl is considered a beauty guru, i had a good feeling about it. i ordered it and while it normally takes a couple of business days to get it, my order was delayed a few days because they were slammed with orders after she did that review.

anyway, i ordered the full size acne facial bar [$5.95] and i chose 5 free samples [with any order you can add up to 5 and they are generous samples] including the acne treatment gel. i got them this week and have already noticed a huge difference in my skin. the bar is amazing and makes my face feel clean. the gel [the sample will last me a while] is awesome, too, and i can see such a huge difference when i wake up each morning.

i have oily skin but have heard and read reviews that it works well for other skin types as well. i really want you guys to trust me on this and do yourselves a favor: go to bestbathstore.com and try this stuff!

if you are skeptical, just pay $6.95 in shipping and get samples of 5 of their products. just fyi, i also got samples of the dead sea body bar, dead sea mud mask, and dead sea facial scrub. i have used all but the bar and i really like them, but the acne stuff is the best by a long shot.

Would it dry your skin out at all? I get dry on the nose and eyebrow. Other than that I have combo skin.

I think I will give this a shot. I have tried so many other products free of chemical or animal derived ingredients because it's very important to me, but have not had any luck thus far (and have spent a lot of $$ in the process). I have found eco-friendly products for everything BUT this so far.

This doesn't seem like too big of a $ commitment and you give such a ringing endorsement...thanks!! Maybe I can 'green' up my whole beauty routine now because acne treament was my last chemical vice!

even though i have oil it still gets dry in the summer. i use a moisturizer in addition to the acne products when i remember. it is probably a good idea to use that as well.

Thanks, I use Aveeno now and it has helped alot. But on the nose it flairs up every now and then during winter time.

Thanks for posting! I used Differin on my face, but quit when we started TTC and it's beginning to show on my face. I like the idea of using more natural products, so I'm interested to see how this works.

Question, I didn't see anything about the free samples... was there a box to check or something, or do they send them anyway? I may have gone through it a little too quickly.

you actually have to search for samples and then it will show all of them and you can add them.

Finally! An acne product recommendation I can afford. I just ordered the regular size acne bar along with the free samples (acne gel, eye cream, and the dead sea mud mask). Thank you for doing this review. I cannot wait to receieve it and I will be sure to let you know how it goes.

I am about to order the full size acne bar (yay affordable!). I really hope it works for me, I have had acne since I was 12 and the only thing that worked for me was accutane. I stopped using that years ago due to the birth defects it causes and my Dr. thought it might be contributing to my depression.
