I have the best uncle EVER!

I broke my camera a few couple weeks ago by dropping it on the lens while it was open (stupid, I know!). It wasn't under warrenty because it was a refurbished camera and Canon charges a minimum for all repairs and it takes them forever to fix it.

I told my grandma about it and she told my uncle who works for Canon. He told me to send him my camera and he would see what he could have done. He got a friend at work to fix it for nothing. The friend also through in an extra battery, 2gb memory card, and a small tripod! SCORE!! I still have to wait until next week to get it, but it was so worth it!
