Uggghh

DS wouldn't go to bed tonight.  I was in his room nursing him with the light on (like every night) and he wouldn't be still.  He was flipping on his head, kicking me in the face, trying to get on the floor, etc (all while he was nursing... my boobs are not that flexible).  I finally put him on the floor and turned out the light.  He sat and played in the dark for 5 minutes or so.  I tried again to nurse him and the same thing.  I was thinking he wasn't tired because he took a 20 minute nap tonight.  I handed him over to DH (who never puts him to bed) and he went and put him in his crib.  Silence... DS went straight to sleep.  So frustrating... DH said this parenting is so easy, what next.

    Maybe he was just really tired and wanted to go straight to bed? Doesn't that make you mad that he was so good for your DH? Lol.

    that'd irk me too...sometimes i feel like all I'm good for is my magic boob-juice, seriously.  She can be all smiley, happy in the evening with DH, then I take her & she just whines...frustrating.  I'm sure I would have thrown a shoe at DH (or whatever was nearby) if he made that comment to me (and I can totally see him saying the same thing).

    We both put Ian to bed together most nights so we both have to deal with the good and the bad. But if my Dh said something like that to me I would definitely throw something at him.
