1st Trimester

Anyone else still not needing a bra or other breast support at night?

I wonder if I am alone.  I am still able to sleep without breast support.   Laying on my stomach can hurt a bit but if I reposition a breast everything is fine.  I wonder if larger chested woman don't get a sore as someone a smaller chested woman....maybe?  I'm a 42 DD pre-pregnancy

  • Sleeping with a sports bra on makes my breasts far more sore than not wearing one, and I sleep on my stomach.

  • I'm a 38 DD now (formerly a 36 B) and I still sleep without a bra and generally walk around during the day (around my house) without one.

  • l would DIE if i had to sleep in a bra. i avoid wearing them whenever possible. I haven't had any breast pain at all really though, i know that is rare, but i am making up for it with bad m/s
  • I have a small chest and never needed to wear one when I was pg with dd. I did however wear a bra to bed when I was nursing.
  • yah im a 34 DD and I don't wear anything at night. If I move them around I can get comfortable lol They are still super sore but I just can't sleep on my belly if I have a sports bra on. And for everyone with a large chest you know your bra works so hard at support all day that there is no way it's comfy at night! lol

  • I never had to wear a bra at night when I was pregnant with DD, and so far not this time either. I have to confess, I used to think that people who complained about super sore breasts during pregnancy were head cases... until my sister got pregnant and said it was really bad! FWIW, I am a 34C and my sister was like a 38DD pre-preg I think.
  • My girls must have grown at least a half a cup size so far (to the point where friends have complimented me).  They're not really sore, per say, but I do have a little discomfort at night if I roll on them the wrong way.  Not really worth sleeping with a bra, really.

  • I was a 34E pre-preg and I've had to either wear some type of bra or a tank that has a shelf-bra in it for the ladies not to hurt.
  • im a 38D pre prego and i havent had to wear anything yet either. when i lay on my stomach it does hurt but i just find a comfy position and i stick with it, im going to have such a hard time sleeping on my back. ugh!
