AW: 18 month checkup

The nurse: "He sure doesn't look like a 4lbs 11oz preemie."

He was 25.8lbs (49%) 33 3/4 inches (87%)

He also scored at 18 months on his evalutaions. My has he come a long way. Smile

    yay! congrats!

    and our LOs were very close - DS was at 32w6d and weighed 4lbs, 14oz! he's up to 18lbs, 13oz as of a couple weeks ago (almost 8 months). the NICU follow-up doctor said the same thing as your dr. Smile

    how do u ladies do it?? lol. my little 34 weeker was 4lbs 10oz at birth and at her 15 month appt she was only 16lbs 6 ounces! 29.5 inches long.

    I'm sure genetics play a roll...are you and DH tall or shorter?

    My babies were 31 weekers and weighed 3lbs 12oz, 3lbs 15oz and 3lbs 7oz. At their 1yr appt two were 24lbs and 1 was 23lbs all were over 30" long. I am 5'8 and DH is 5'10...may play a roll in their size.

    Sept.07Bride... I was 16 lbs at one year. It does depend alot on genetics.
