First Bday Party Planning

I'm having a small party for the baby...maybe 15-20 family/friends. Do I just serve appetizers/snacks and then cake or should I serve other things?

    It depends on the time of day I think. We are doing the boy's party from 11-1 (right at lunch time) so we are serving lunch along with cake/ice cream.

    Ditto pp.  If it's at lunch time, then you probably need to serve something more substantial for lunch.  If it's after lunch and before dinner then appetizers and snacks are fine.
