I just saw you post we are in the same boat...My Ds was born @ 33 weeks due to IUGR. I saw the doctor and they "labeled" me high risk so @ about 30 week they will start monitoring me more..How many weeks pregnant are you???My ds just turned 11 months today.....Hope this may help...

I am only 5 weeks pregnant. I just found out on Monday. I have been trying to get an appointment with this high risk specialist but everytime I call it is busy. My baby is 11 months. I had her when I was 32 weeks pg. I had the perfect pregnancy. No morning sickness, fatigue etc. all of a sudden my blood pressure went sky high and they decided to do an ultrasound with doppler. they admitted me right away and they did a csection 3 hours later, How far a long are you now? I see you mention that at 30 weeks they will monitor you more. Is this when they suspect IUGR starts? I never knew when it started with me. I dont think the doctors even have any answers for me. My ob totally dropped the ball on this. the nurse saw my elevated blood pressure 4 days before I had my baby and brought it to the doctors attention. she said it was fine and let me go. Maybe bed rest could have made a difference......I don;t know.
I havent told anyone yet because I want to be very sure that everything is ok.

I am 10 weeks today...I had ds @ 33 weeks...lack of movement and then after monitering that day I had some contractions and his heart rate dropped...so I had am emergency c-section..I think the doc said they would moniter me more after 28-30 weeks...I asked next time if I will have more time to prepare and the doc said more then likely it will be a spur of the moment thing...He hasn't even mentioned seeing a high risk doc...
Hope for 9 months gl
I see the doc again next friday so if I find out more I will post here then...
