  We loved the Boppy Newborn lounger, seriously Brendan lived in it for months. It was a perfect cocoon for him. ?So I always recommend that but clothes are great too I may go up a size to newborn though ?

  ditto PP. DS was born at 32w6d, and he was too long for the preemie clothes. he lived in newborn sleepers for the first few months he was home.

  to answer your question, no I wouldn't wait. She is probably nesting and freaking out b/c she has nothing ready for the baby yet (that's how I was at least).

  In addition to SBM's list on her blog, a Moby wrap is great for keeping preemie close and secure.  You can even do kangaroo care with it, which is so important for preemies.
