I am always worried that DD isn't getting enough of these.
What kind of a routine do you follow each day as to how often your LO gets a fruit, veggie, carb, dariy etc?
I have been doing yogurt with fruit for breaskfast and just making sure DD gets veggies at least with dinner (usually with lunch too) and something else with lunch and dinner such as more fruit, pasta or something like cheese or cottage cheese.
Re: How many times per day does your Lo get veggies, fruits, etc?
I answered your other post too
I don't worry too much since we're still introducing foods and DD gets formula everyday. But she always gets fruits for breakfast (we just cut up different fruits) and baby cereal/oatmeal. For lunch we were doing a mix of veggies and sometimes cheese or cereal, but lately we started giving her cut up chicken or ground turkey. Same for dinner.

My boys are a bit younger then yours and I started them on solids at closer to 6 months so they are behind.
But with my daughter - I used to make pasta for her and cut it up real small and add pureed carrots with some tomato sauce. I would also cut up aspargus (??) for her into her pasta. It was canned - but rinsed real well - I would pull out the real soft ones to cut up for her. It was her favorite. I always tried mixing extra veggies (pureed) into her meals. Sometimes it worked - sometimes it doesn't.
My girlfriend recommend giving my dd canned veggies - because her son never had them - so he will only eat fresh. Not a bad thing - but if all you have is canned or frozen he won't eat it. So I would open a can of whatever - rinse it really well and give her some on her tray while I prepped her dinner. It helped her practice feeding her self and it gave her an extra serving of veggies.
I plan on doing the same with my boys. I have already started sitting them in their chairs with a couple of puffs while I prep their dinner.
