Got released from RE today :)

You might remember my "I'm so sick" post from yesterday. I took the phenergan at 4 and slept until 9:30 when I was able to eat a few bites of food and hold down some lemonade. I took the phenergan again at midnight and saw my RE at 8:45 this morning.

Everything looked perfect with our little Butter Bean (u/s in signature) and he sent me straight from his office to my OB's.

My OB put me on Zofran and I can't believe how much better I feel after only 1 pill! I was able to eat lunch and I've even snacked on some crackers! I go back next week for my first official appointment with my OB - I'm so excited Big Smile

My RE also gave us a gift - a silver spoon with "To a very special baby" engraved on it with my RE's name below. It made me cry.

    Congratulations! And that was such a sweet gift from your RE.

    Dx: PCOS and short luteal phase
    18 cycles (3 with our RE) - Metformin + Clomid + HCG booster did the trick!
    BFP #1 6/22/09 EDD: 3/2/10 DS born: 3/8/10

    DH was the same way, the weekend before last. Except he wasn't pregnant, lol.

    He was actually in the hospital, because we couldn't figure out why he was having all of this nausea. He had a recent surgery, so they wanted to be careful. He took phenergan, then Zofran. (sp?). The Zofran didn't help, as much as phenergan.

    congrats!  its nice to become a "regular" pregnant person after the RE.  I loved my RE and was sad to leave them, but was happy to finally get to be a first tri pregnancy instead of a infertility patient!
