I have a pain in my side

It is this throbbing pain on my left side.  It is above my waisteline so I don't think it is pg related.  Would you be concerned?

Re: I have a pain in my side

  • Does it feel like a stitch.  Like after running or something?
  • Loading the player...
  • If it gets too hard to move around or makes you double over for a while, it's time to call. It could be a kidney stone, which won't actually hurt you or baby, but, they are really painful.

  • I would call your doctor just to be safe! I let pain go for a long time and I had to go to the hospital. NOT that I think that of yours I just think it's better to be safe! GL feel better keep us updated!
  • Could it be gas?  Does it come and go?  What about after a good toot or a BM?
  • I have had some pain in the ovary areas. So on my left and right sides. It comes and goes.
  • You kill me boxie!  It does come and go, or maybe I just notice it some times and not others, it seems to not hurt as much when I am pressing my had against it.

I don't have to do either so I am not sure.

  • Maybe it is gas. I have had so many pains come and go, but if it lasts a while I would definetly call the dr.

  • If I did end up having to call someone do I call my ob or a gp...actually we are going to be switching gp's so I don't really have one right now.
  • if it bothers you enough to be a little worried, i would just call my ob for peace of mind.
