Hi Ladies-
I am hoping you can help. I am trying out my first cycle of clomid + IUI. I have had a history of high FSH (but all else looks "normal")- so we weren't sure how I would respond to the Clomid. I took 50 mg of Clomid on days 5-9 and today is day 12. I went in for an U/S this morning and found out that my lining is 7.7 and I have 2 follicles on one side (19 and 11 mm) and 2 on the other side also (15 and 9 mm). I am going back for another U/S Friday morning.
My regular RE is on vacation, so I saw a new RE today. I usually ask a million questions...but between hearing about some questionable biopsy results from the nurse (that turned out to be nothing) and having a new doctor...I must not have been thinking straight. My question for you guys is...does this seem "on track" so far? How many follicles and what sizes are normal or do doctor's like to see?
Re: Need some follie check help!
Sounds perfect to me. I am assuming they did bloodwork as well and are tracking your e2 and LH?
Those numbers sound excellent. They grow about 1.5 per day, so you'll be looking at 23, 14, 17 by about then. The 23 and 17 should O.
Good job! And best of luck!
4 mature follies seem like a lot of an IUI cycle. I think my RE's limit is 3.
Other than that, it sounds great!
Its looking good!
I only had 2 mature follies when I was triggered at 24mm and 17mm with a lining of 7 and the Dr. seemed to think it was really good.
Good luck!!!
that sounds very good for clomid - i respond and usually have a mature follie (or two) by cd12 or 13 -
although I'm surprised they didn't trigger you tomorrow night with the 19 mm follie - whenever I go in and have a 18 mm follie or so, I have to trigger the next night....
