I have a sore throat, so i have an appt for that this am in about a half hour. My m/s seems to be gone, it came back a little bit last night, but didnt stay long. Hope i dont jinx myself. Now im just constantly hungry. Pretzels are sounding really good to me.
I honestly haven't given any thought about registering. I also haven't thought about names. I'm too nervous to get ahead of myself at this point. I have my first appt tomorrow so hopefully I feel more at ease and less in denial than I do now.
Morning all Well, I tried the zofran for the second time again yesterday, and got cramps... again. Not sure what I should be thinking at this point. Also gearing up for tomorrow being the start of my month with the in-laws living with me - who I love, and will love having here, except for DH's uncle who is driving me bat-sh!t crazy, and is typically here Thurs-Sun. My MIL and FIL arrive on Tuesday though, I can't wait - I hope I feel great by then, we plan on taking them out to one of Charleston's nicest restaurants for FIL's birthday, and then to announce the pregnancy
QOTD: For now I am in research stage, for stuff like car seats, high chairs, etc. As soon as I get all the big stuff figured out, I'll find out which store has the most of them and register there, but not "announce" that I did so until I know the sex.

QOTD: We are definitely going to register before the holidays. ?We are thinking maybe late October/early November. ?We definitely want to know the gender so that is kind of what we are waiting on.?
I'm so new to all this, I have no idea when you are even supposed to register, yikes! But I'm assuming it's after my 20 week appt so that I at least know the sex.
QOTD: We will probably register in Oct or Nov. We are Team Green so the 20 wk ultrasound won't make a difference. I hear it's overwhelming so I'd like to get it over with before the hustle and bustle of the holidays hit.
Right now we are in the research stage so we just started to compile a list of things we need. But nothing has been registered yet. The latest we will register is October...I would like to avoid the holiday rush.
I feel like I'm in a holding stage.... I feel pretty good but I know m/s is around the corner. I don't know when she will strike.
We are not finding out the sex so we probably won't wait quite 20 weeks, maybe around 18 weeks which is mid October. My birthday is in November and with the holidays I want our family to have the list available for gifts. Every year it's so tough trying to tell people what to get us, this year will be easy!

My goodness - scrolling down our list of members is pretty impressive.. we have quite the group!
I had a great morning - my husband and I went in for our first ultrasound, and saw a very healthy heartbeat! The size put me more at 7 weeks rather than 8, but my doctor said to keep my due date as is, given that the first ultrasound is often the least reliable for estimations and given how sure I am about my cycle. I go back in in 4 weeks, and she'll use a doplar to hear the heart heartbeat (we hope). This was also the first meeting i had with my doctor (my previous doctor no longer delivers babies, so I switched to someone else in the practice). LOVE her.
QOTD: When will you register?Gosh! Tough question. Maybe after I hit second trimester and feel less worried about m/s (though I do hear that the percentage drops after seeing the hb, so that's good!)
When will we register?? -- if it were up to my husband we already would be! But I told him we have to wait until the 1st tri is over, if nothing else...
He is more excited about the idea of registering then I am!

Since this is our 3rd child we still have everything except a few odds & ends so we won't be registering. We have 2 girls so if this baby is a boy we will need clothes and bedding and other boy things. Even if the baby is a boy we won't be registering.
