STILL just 2 cm, 50% effaced, and a freaking -3 station!!! She stripped my membranes again but it's not looking too promising that this child will arrive on time. So much for all the walking and stairs I have been doing, and so much for 2nd babies coming faster and sooner. I'm pissed! Vent over...

Sorry. I can imagine how frustrating that would be. Hope baby drops soon (I've heard that 2nd babies often don't drop until labor) and things pick up for you.

Not that it will make you feel any better, but you are not alone. There are quite a few of us who seem to be making zero progress over the last couple of weeks.

I am sorry! I feel your pain! I am just waiting and waiting for some contractions. On Monday I was 2 cm and the Dr. stripped my membranes for the 2nd time. My body just isn't ready. I have an induction scheduled for tomorrow night.

My 40 week appointment revealed that I was 1 cm and 75% effaced. This is my second too and my first was delivered two days before her due date. I don't know what's up with these August babies!
