  • I've never used them.  They sound kind of like gas drops to me.

As in, they didn't really do much, but I used them when DS had gas because I felt like I was doing something.

  • They are tiny white tablets that dissolve very quickly in DC's mouth (or you can dissolve it in liquid) and I would swear that they help. I bought them when I was at the end of my rope with DS's teething and they get him to stop crying so I will keep using them. Maybe it's just the feeling of them dissolving that takes his mind off of the pain, but either way, he is happer so I'm happier.

    We use Highlands Teething Tablets.

  • LOL.

Do the babies chew on them?  Is the point that the chewing helps with the pain or is there a pain reliever in them?  How big are they?  What are they made of?

I know these questions are dumb.  Obviously I have never used them with DD, but I feel as a mother of a baby, I should know what they are.

(I don't understand gas drops either - you can add in that info too, if you want - how they are administered, why they supposedly work, what they are made of, etc)

DD def calms after them. It may just be the "candy" takes her attention away from crying. Whatever works right?

  • Hyland's Teething Tablets are homeopathic and have:?Calcarea Phosphorica (helps w/the teeth themselves),?Chamomilla (helps w/the grumpiness),?Coffea Cruda (for sleeplessness and excessive urination), and?Belladonna (for the gums).?
  • I use the Gentle Naturals teething drops (you put the dropper under their tongue).  I think they work.  They mellow her out and appear to help her sleep better.  I could just be imagining it though... :)
