Well, it's provera time!

in TTC After a Loss

Picked it up after work.  My OB gave me ten days worth to bring on AF...I'm supposed to be going to Vegas on the 16th...how long does it take for this thing to kick in?

Anyone else taking provera?

    I took it after my ectopic/surgery when I was at day 80 and still no AF. I took it for my 10 days (okay I cheated and did nine) and then got AF 5 days after the last pill day. GL! 

    (note: it made me a little cranky and I had some hot flashes) 

    oh please. not KU. effed up.

    Nice to see you!  I'm glad that you've got a plan of action going.

    I think that a couple of days (2-4) is pretty typical, but it can take up to 10.

    I hope AF shows soon.  I've taken it a couple times and AF showed for me 3-4 days after finishing it.

    I got it 4 days INTO taking it which makes me think it wasn't the drug...I hopeit comes quick for ya! 

    Just a heads up and this was just my experience, my cycle after provera was a MESS!   temps all over the place before evening out.  Hopefully you won't have that.  :-)
