I am super proud that DD has learned to say thank you. I have worked on this for months. It is so cute, but she is obsessed!
First she started ripping up little bits of tissue and handing them to me one at a time so that I would thank her and then she would repeat it. "Tank-koooooo!"
Now, even when she doesn't have anything handy she takes her thumb and pointer finger and pretends to pick something up. I have to hold out my hand and if I don't close it after she gives me the "item", she'll close my palm for me and wait for me to thank her.
Dinner takes quite a long time now since we do this between pretty much every bite.
I guess I hope this manners kick takes off
Re: DD loves "Thank you!"
I love the "tank koo" he says it when he give me something and when I give him something LOL. He even says it to the dog when trying to give the dog his milkbone. It is funny.
I really love this age!
Awe!! So adorable!
I can't AND can wait for that stage. I'm so enjoying every new little thing.
Edit -by "little" I mean HUGE (to us anyway)
