Who else is in week 12 or 13 and not showing at all? My tummy's flat as usual - even some of the excess bloat has decreased today! I have no weight shift, nothing unusual going on, my clothes all fit and look normal. I look decidedly NOT pregnant.
ETA: I asked this in part because it seems like everyone around me who has been pg in the past tells me that they were showing pretty much "right away." Some of my friends who know seem shocked that I'm not showing at all yet. It's making me wonder if something's wrong w/ the baby's growth, despite that many on these boards have said they didn't show until weeks 14-20.
Re: 12-13 weeks and not showing AT ALL - who's with me?
I'm not there with this pregnancy yet, but that is totally normal... I didn't show at all with DD until I was closer to 17 weeks or something like that...
Edit: And that was when I could tell... other people couldn't. I didn't even look pregnant enough for strangers to make comments until I was over 30 weeks... and then I only had comments from 2 strangers.
DS #1 born January 2010. DS #2 due June 2014.
Nah, with the first, you won't. I was hanging with my favorite mother-of-two this weekend. She said with her first, at 20 wks, no one could tell she was pregnant. With her second, also at 20 wks, people said, "You must be due any day now!!"
I, for one, am noticing people who know that I'm pregnant grinning goofily when they stare at my stomach. My weight has redistributed so I'm more tube-like. No waist really, and my belly's more curved. It's def. not a baby bump though, which is what I want to tell people who freak me out with their goofy belly stares.
Same for me.
I'm not. It looks like I've just had a few too many cheeseburgers.
That is what happened to me. I didn't really start to show at all until 17 or 18 weeks.
I had some bloat before 17 weeks but it wasn't very noticeable and would disappear and reappear.
Didn't show with DD until closer to 20 and even then it wasn't very notable. It wasn't until 25 weeks that I started to pop out a little and then it was all downhill from there
No worries - your baby belly will come! And it's so much fun when it does!
This.
