I want 3 or 4. A boy first so he can protect his little sister(s) of course.
However, just one healthy baby would be A-Okay with me for now : )
Two for sure....
I was leaning toward three when I got pg the first time, but DH needs convincing. My ability to convince him is lessening with every passing month.
We planned for 5 or 6, but my DH is starting to lean closer to 4 as he gets older. Oh well, I'll just have to hop on top of him at the right times. He'll never say no to that!

I have wanted 3 kids since I, myself, was a kid. It's highly likely I'll have to be ok with just having two... or even just one child when all is said and done.
It all sort of depends on how this shakes out--if there's another miscarriage in the future or a long road of TTC... As much as I want another child, we may have to be ok with just one. Lately, I feel like I really need to start focusing on that as a possibility and truly become ok with that to avoid being a crappy mom who's totally hung up on getting KU instead of on the great kid she already has. ::ok, vent over lol::
We both always wanted 3...but 2 is much more realistic for us (living in the city it's a space/cost issue).
DH said he'd get snipped when we are done, but I am going to have a real hard time closing the door on babymaking after the next one. In fact, thinking about the next one being my last pregnancy makes me sad, but it probably will be!
I wanted 3-5 kids, H wanted 2 so we compromised with 3.
When I was pregnant with Patrick I thought he would be an only child because my pregnancy was so rough, but I'm back to having 3 and I'm holding strong with still wanting 3.
I always said 4...thought that was a well rounded #. DH said 2......until we had DD. Now he agrees w/4......it's great that I have him convinced...but it'll all depend on how old we are getting baby #2. I was hoping to be finished w/having children by 32-34.....and so I guess already being 27, means I'd have to be a busy girl in the next few years.......so at this point, we'd be happy with baby #2 not being too far off.....
We've always said we want 4-6 kids. After this year and our two losses with no baby in our arms yet, we would be happy with 1 healthy baby!! If and when that happens, I know we'll want more though. We'll just have to see what God has in store for us. But I hate the waiting. Patience is a virtue I do not have (yet).

8/09 Dx w/Compound Hetero MTHFR--Neevo, Metanx & BA
BFP #3 - 1/11/10 - DD1 born 9/16/10 @39w4d, 8lbs 14oz & 20in.
Heparin from BFP to 34wks.
BFP #4 - 10/4/11 - DD2 born 6/2/12 @38w1d, 8lbs 11oz & 21in.
Same med protocol as last time, but heparin continued until delivery.
BFP #5 - 3/30/14, EDC 12/10/14!!
Beta #1-76 (12dpo), Beta #2-238 (14dpo)
I want 3, DH wants 4-5. We will after we have the first.
It really hasn't changed anything just yet. I'm only 25.
Growing up I always wanted 2 boys and than a girl (same as one of the PP, so they could protect their little sister
I had a big brother growing up).
I have my two boys, and should be content with that, and if all fails with our next pregnancy I think I may have to be cause I couldn't handle another loss, but we'd really like one more. At this point as long as baby is healthy I don't care if it's boy or girl.
