Just thought I would share this little story just in case someone else can benefit as well.
DH just started with his company 7 months ago, so he's not too familiar with all the benifits they offer yet. Fortunately there are 2 pregnant women in his group and they told him to call HR and tell them that I was pregnant.
Today I got a package in the mail today from corporate with a bunch of discounts like 10% off all orders from diapers.com, free subscription to a baby/mom health website, and a voucher for a Medela Advanced breast pump for $100 ($150 off)!
Wouldn't hurt to call HR (or your SO's HR), especially if you work for a large corporation, and see if there are any benefits. Since these didn't come through our insurance company we had no idea they existed.
Re: PSA: HR and Breast Bumps
Ha. I would if I could. However it's not a code or anything. You have to order it through DH's company and be an employee or a spouse of an employee. Presumably they are picking up the tab for the rest of the $150.
