washing used CDs and covers

I should be getting my used fitteds soon.  How should I wash them to get ready for the little green bean?  When I wash them, can I toss my NEW covers in with them?  Can covers go in the dryer or do I need to hang them to dry?  All of my PFs have been prepped already (just finished the last load today) and are ready to go- just have to do my fitteds and covers. (and all that OTHER baby related laundry!)

Re: washing used CDs and covers

  • I'd just wash them all in hot water (or the sanitary cycle if you have it) and then todd them all in the dryer. I use the ultra delicate cycle but with the extra dry setting. I know some say to dry covers (at least every once in awhile) on hot to "seal" the PUL, but mine have worked perfectly fine the way I've done them. It gets everything dry except the thick fitted and AIOS, so I then hang those to dry on the drying rack, on the clothes line or over the shower bar in the bathroom.
