Recommendations for nanny services?

I'll be returning to work in about 4 wks and need to start looking for a nanny part time. Can anyone recommend a nanny or a nanny placement agency?

How much per hour does a nanny cost?

    I have a friend who was a Nanny (had a baby in Jan.) and is looking to find a Fam to Nanny for now .... part time I believe .... she is in the Jeff Park area and has not found a fam yet, I believe.  For more info PM me and I can ask her and pass on info ....

    Try sittercity.com. we found our nanny through the service and it's only $8 a month or something... plus you can use them for baby sitters as well.. we found lots of qualified applicants, college degrees and some older women who are making a career change...

    We live in Wicker Park and have decided to cut back our nanny's hours due to my husband being home.  We are looking for a family that is interested in a part time nanny so that we don't lose her to another family full time...let me know if you are interested.  I can be reached at christiana.mason@comcst.net.
