Anybody's 9.5 month old NOT mobile?

My daughter is still not crawling or pulling herself up.  If one more person asks me about it, I may freak out.  She loves just sitting and watching the world.  There can't be anything wrong with that right??

 Anybody else in my situation?

    My LO pulls up occasionally but not really.  Only on one box.  People are always asking if he is crawling yet.  It drives me nuts, he shows no interest in it.  He just likes to watch what is going on, he will win any staring contest.  My friend's DS didn't start moving around until just about 1 year, they will do it when they are ready, no worries.

    DS is still a bit behind yours, but he is not even close to pulling himself up....he seems quite content sit. He does seem close to crawling - he gets up on all fours and rocks and scooches/rolls around...but who knows.

    DS did not crawl until 11 months. Once he started crawling he was pulling himself up on everything and cruising everywhere. The questions drove me crazy too but I think people ask them because they don't know what else to say. Your DD will do these things on her own time, when she's good and ready!

    Im right there with you! although mine is 2 weeks behind your LO. I couldve written this post myself!!! lol. Maybe its partly their?temperament?too??

    My Pedi told me its fine. Also My 9 mos old is 21 lbs and really tall too. He says sometimes its harder for the bigger babies ... ? ?

    Lily didn't crawl until 10.5 months and now she pulls herself up on everything, is cruising, and is into EVERYTHING! ?

    Don't worry about it. ?When she is ready, she will do it...and then you will be EXHAUSTED.

    Edit- Oh, and it never ends. ?Ever since Lily turned a year I get "is she walking yet?" constantly- even though the average for walking is 14 months. After she walks, I am sure there will be something else. ??

    My DS didn't crawl until nearly 11 mos, and started pulling up within probably a week of that.  Not to worry, your LO has plenty of time!  :)

    (I'm an infant development specialist, too... so this is also a professional opinion!  ;)

    I'm taking that excuse and running with it - Alyssa hasn't been 21 pounds in months! (and no, she's nowhere close to mobile)

    Lydia started crawling FINALLY about a month ago, so just around 9.5 months. I cherish EVERY single minute I had before she became mobile! :)

    I hope you can come to a Denver mom GTG sometime!

    Oh, and Lydia was big too. Maybe a little smaller than that- probably 20 lbs. It's a lot of weight to drag around!
