So anyone's DH like mine....He always seems to be more tired, more hungry, more sore, etc. ?I mean really, I have heard of sympathy pains but come on...
It's like he totally forgets what I am going through here and he's like "Why are u tired?!" ? In the beginning he was very sweet and attentive but how quickly he forgets. ?He hasn't read about what I am going through...I keep encouraging him to read my book since he told me I shouldn't bother buying the Dad's book and he would go to bookstore and read it! LOL!!
Oyyy! ?Anyone else going through this?!?
Re: DH & preg. symptoms....
i also catch him telling people how he is soo tired b/c I am getting up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom several times, waking him up!
Poor thing! ?Thank God he doesn't need to carry the baby!?
My DH has been eating a lot of ice cream lately, having back aches, headaches, going to bed very early. I asked him if he was having sympathy symptoms and he said possibly.
To give a DH credit in having a pg wife, when I woke him up this morning at 5AM on his day off, sobbing because I had been awake for an hour and a half, he was so sweet and reassuring, rubbing my back and singing to me.
Sounds like he was very sweet this morning! ?Big points!
But this below sounds very familiar:
H has kind of ... not really acknowledged the pregnancy. I think he's afraid of a m/c so he's not getting his hopes up.
Evelyn (3.24.10), Graham (5.30.13) & Miles (8.28.16)
:::In My Life, I've Loved You More:::
CHARTS
Ohhh, that's a good one! haha!?
I have a pregnancy week by week book and every week I read to my DH what is happening to baby and what is happening to me. It really only takes a few minutes and then we are both on the same page. It is a pretty subtle way for him to hear all of the things you are going through. There are even some "daddy tips" in the book i have.
Yeah I read them from my book to him too. But, I usually skip all the symptoms since they don't change as much during the course of the month.?
