Women's Healthcare Associates?

Hi Ladies,

I don't usually post here. I'm a regular on the Getting Pregnant board. I'm wondering if any of you go to Women's Healthcare Associates? I'm currently going to the Tualatin location and love the clinic and have heard good things about delivering at Meridian (if I get pregnant that is) but am not happy with my current doc and am thinking about switching to another one in that practice. Any recs?

Re: Women's Healthcare Associates?

  • I'm with WHA Peterkort and love all of the providers there, not sure you want to go so far as to change locations but I would rec any of their docs or midwives

  • I just delivered at Meridian Park and had the best experience. My doctor is Dr. Giralomi with Women's Healthcare Associates. I was refered to him by a friend after relocating from Florida and absolutely loved him. Even if I was his last appointment of the day on a Friday he would make me feel just as important as if I were the first appointment. He was truely excited to deliver my son and I felt so safe with him. My husband and I loved him! Good luck.
  • I delivered DD at Meridian Park 18 months ago and go to WHA.  I see Dr. Marguerite Stewart and love her!  My insurance has changed since having DD so even though Dr. Stewart is in-network, Meridian Park is not and I will have to switch eventually.  It makes me sad because I really like her.  Best of luck!

  • I go to Peterkort as well and see Dr. Warhus.  He has been my Dr. for 3 years now and I love him.  We'll be delivering at Providence St. Vincents though.  I'd recommend staying with WHA if you can, I've heard they're great :)

  • I saw one Dr years ago at Tualatin and was NOT impressed, she hada horrible bedside manner.  I even called the offic manager to complain.  I can't remember her name though.  Sorry I'm notmuch help.

Best of luck in your TTC!  It took me 22 months and then I got pregnant naturally, so don't give up hope if it doesn't happen right away!

I'm 22 weeks pregnant and am seeing Dr. Stuart with Women' Healthcare Associates and she is the best!  I always here of people who felt rush at there appointments and that is never the case with Dr. Stuart.  I also toured the hospital and thought it was really nice.  It is also one of the most supportive hospitals if you are planning on having a natural birth ;)

  • I've heard fabulous things about Dr. Giralomi. I've met him a few times and he seems very kind and qualified. I've also heard great things about meridian park. I used wha peterkort for DC #1 and was pretty happy there. They are pretty big but they seem well organized.
