Success after IF

anyone use baby legs?

the little baby leg/arm warmers?  i have one pair, haven't used it yet, but i'm thinking of ordering more so the kiddos can wear them with their cute cloth diapers (some of which are arriving this week i think!) and tee shirts some days... if you use them where did you get them and what brand?

thanks!!

Re: anyone use baby legs?

  • I made my own, just bought cute (cheap) adult knee socks, cut off the feet and sewed the bottom to avoid freying.

  • Of course!  I had tiny newborn ones made for her her first winter, and I used standard BabyLegs brand ones last winter that I had accumulated in the meantime when I saw ones I liked on sale.  If you start looking now I'm sure you can find plenty for less than $9 or so.  Her first winter she just wore a t-shirt and diaper so the BabyLegs completed her clothing, LOL.  Last year she mainly wore them under dresses, as will be the case this winter as well.  There are plenty of WAHM ones too -- Sew Crafty Baby, for example.  You can make them too, but they're pretty cheap to buy already made and I have no talent.  Have fun! :)

  • We have them and ordered them from babyearth.com.  I'll be honest; we never use them.  I don't see the purpose as they don't fully cover his legs (upper thigh is exposed).  Plus, the elasticized part digs into his skin, which I can't imagine is comfortable.  Of course, he IS a chunky baby, so this may not be true for smaller babies.

  • I have the BabyLegs brand, that I got from babysteals.com.  They are mighty cute with a cloth diaper and white onsie.  DS wears them on the weekend a lot, and they help keep his knees from getting carpet burn, and his legs warm during naps.
