Yes, it's only July. But I just saw this idea and I'm so excited I had to share it with someone(s)! Last year I had DD paint Christmas ornaments at a DIY pottery place but it was expensive and took a long time to get my pieces back, plus I had to ship breakable things cross-country. So this year, I intend on doing this:

I'll probably just have her glue the pieces, and I'll sew the date on the back. Aren't they the cutest little things?

Those are adorable! We will definitely be doing that. I'm making these ornaments with the kids to give to the grandparents etc. I think they are super cute and I really do love handprint/footprint art.

Im a little late, but last year I used a clear ornament, and put a picture of DD inside- the used paint pens on the other side to write the yr and age of DD
It was SO cute and easy! I made 12 for 4.00 and it took me 2 hrs to complete them
